The Bromley Garden Project

Waitrose in Beckenham has started to help the Bromley Garden Project link with Windward Bananas. (You can learn about Waitrose Windward bananas if you click on name Waitrose.)

 

Nick and Sharon from Waitrose visited us at school and we showed them our garden and allotment and talked about our plans to send onions to the Windward Islands as a fair swap for the bananas we have been sent.

 

They gave us 2 crates of Fairtrade bananas from the Windward Islands. We gave a free banana and a Look Windwards leaflet to everyone who bought a plant at the Farmers Market on the 23rd November.
